Had this intermittent problem on drivers rear brake light and indicator not working/fault over the last couple of years so bit the bullet and decided to investigate issue both via Vauxhall
Reasons For Indicator Not Working On One Side: Poor Light Bulb. When the turn signal of the car is not working, this is the most common reason for it to not work. It will happen because like normal light bulbs the filament inside the bulb might be broken and the glass will be dark. Check this light bulb from Amazon. Bulb Sockets Oxidization.

All the dials work and the lamps seem to work too. The only other bit of weirdness is that the low fuel light is permanently on despite the car having fuel and the fuel gauge working, and the low washer fluid light is also on despite the car having washer fluid. The service lamp has also come on but it is due a service.
Connect the test lamp to earth and probe one terminal, then the other. If the lamp lights on both terminals, the fault is in the wiring between the switch and reversing lights. If the lamp fails to light at all, check the wiring between the fuse and switch. If the lamp only lights on one terminal, the switch is either broken or needs adjusting.
